| ok, let's try this again shall we?
since the last time i wrote an entry:
got my raise! (about freakin time)
went to the philippines! (called chubby's dad a dog and impressed his wife by doing so. kudos to me!)
moved to a new apmt! (no more roaches, thank you, lawd!)
learned to knit! (but it made my hands look freakishly bony so i quit. lol.)
dealt with a sexually harassing manager. (not sure who won that one since i reported it to HR but he's still not fired.)
reinforced my friendships and increased my social life!
chubby and i are still doing great together. like all couples, we have our moments of burning frustration, but for the most part, he makes me really happy and i hope i make him, too! how could i not, though? i'm quite the awesome girlfriend. hohoho! the economy has gone down the pie-hole but fortunately for me, that means the workload increases and i get paid overtime. :) since moving out to a new place, it really feels like i've become more independent. ok, i'm lying. but cinpii used to live right upstairs from me and now she's like 8 blocks away. i no longer have that security blanket feeling. i wish we had taken more opportunities to hang out. now she and her hubby are looking to buy a condo and move even further away (you know, more than the current 8 blocks as mentioned previously). makes me sad!! things are changing, for better or for worse, and i'm not sure if i like it. well, as long as she doesnt live too far away (as in, i need to hop on a fwy to see her) then i'll be cool. she IS my shopping buddy, afterall. this makes me think of monk and how i no longer live with her (havent for 3 yrs now). it was a little shitty to see her move so far away.. i mean, seriously, there are PLENTY of apmts in our area that she could have moved to. i wish she'd move back closer. i think we took for granted that we lived together or lived near each other that we didnt make the most of it. now i'm regretting it. i just want my sisters to live near me! is that too much to ask?!!

men's tennis.. specifically when federer kicks nadal's ass. i hate nadal! DIE! altho i have to admit, it's the best tennis to watch in history so far.

| chickened out today. will bake many yummy belated Fourth of July cupcakes for Monday and butter up the boss-men (they both have a massive sweet tooth), then spring the question on the nicer of the two. i've raked in 22 overtime hours in the past 2 weeks. i'm also going in to work tomorrow.. yes, on a holiday, to pull in more hours. i'm surprised the head honcho is ok with paying me double-time, but i'm happy for it. money, baby! gimme money!! if i do this a few more times, i can pay off the hospital bill! yay!  wish i could be spending this money on another vacation but oh well..
if you're ever in downtown and want to try someplace nice, i recommend Roy's. i went there with some co-workers after work ended early today. got treated, too, which is an absolute bonus! mmMmm.. http://www.roysrestaurant.com/ try their lobster potstickers, mahi-mahi with macademia nuts and their crazy chocolate souffle! totally to die for. their guava chiffon cake is also delish! 
ok, borrowed some new wii games and want to try it out now.

| am considering asking my boss for a raise. i've already written down a list of reasons why i deserve it but the part where i need to verbally confront him about it scares me. i'm frightened that i'm just going to go into his office and slam my fist down on his table and say, "GIMME ME MO' MONEY, MAN!!! I'M TIRED OF BEING EVERYONE'S BITCH!!" (at least make me a well-paid one. hehe) that, or i'll stutter over my words in a rush to get them out on the table and hope that he understands me over my quick breaths and jittery hand motions.
*sigh*
i hope i dont chicken out and just decide to wait until the end of the year for a review. we'll see!
the fat one bought us the wii and guitar hero. been playing tennis everyday now.. i now have one muscle on my right arm. i still suck at the boxing game. i have such a poor punch!! if the game was about slapping or scratching (even biting), i'd win hands down!! 
my hospital bill came out to be over $12,000. that's right. will. take. donations. (thank goodness for insurance tho!)

| my neck is getting old. my oldest sister has wrinkles around her eyes.. that'll be ME in 6 years. i'm going to buy a costco-size bottle of anti-aging cream soon.
